The Coolum Collection—Designed for Hemptech

Created for New Zealand’s natural textile company, Hemptech, Coolum is a fresh, simple, contemporary design, and features in their growing range of printed fabrics designed by established artists and creatives for commercial application.

The design is inspired by the pristine beaches of south-east Queensland, in particular, Coolum Beach just north of Brisbane and references patterns found in our natural environment. The ripples that form in the sand when water laps at the shore, fish scales, sea shells and the shapes of the surrounding mountains.
