With the exhibition over, I’ve been reflecting on the project, the work and the show.
Without the opportunity to share the work with an audience, there is no flow of information, no exchange of ideas and verbal histories, no finding out about interesting personal stories relating to the various works… None of that.
Here’s a glimpse of the private screening (by invitation only) held in preview of the exhibition. I was lucky to have actual relatives of Walter Hill come and pay homage to their accomplished and important ancestor. How often does something like that happen?
