Featuring in my upcoming exhibition, Collected Patterns: The botany of Walter Hill, is a series of beautiful letterpress prints staring the following plants cultivated in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens by Walter Hill (1855-1881): Croton, Tobacco, Cinchona, Lucerne, Sugar Cane and White Clover. Printed on Magnani Incisioni 650/5 Smooth White 100% Cotton Rag Paper using rubber-based inks these prints embody precision, richness, warmth and depth.

The Bunya Bunya makes a special appearance.
