Collected Patterns: The botany of Walter Hill – Exhibition Opens Tomorrow
March 4, 2011 KT

In the lead up to this exhibition I have been blogging my little heart out to bring you as much information as possible about the show without ‘ruining the punch line’!

If you’re still with me, maybe I’ve achieved something?

I hope you can make it along to Collected Patterns: The botany of Walter Hill an exhibition of new paper and textile-based works celebrating the significance of early settler, Walter Hill’s, contribution to the Brisbane and Queensland environment and agricultural economy through his work as the first curator of the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens (1855-1881).

I will be sitting the show for its duration (only one week), so check the invitation below for gallery hours. I’d love to give you a personal tour! And remember, 10% of all sales of work during the exhibition, will be donated to Grahame Galleries + Editions Flood Appeal.

Exhibition runs: 5-12 March at Myrtle Street Studio
