Brisbane French Festival 2011 – Featuring Collected Patterns & Blue Pearl Décor

Brisbane French Festival 2011 – Featuring Collected Patterns & Blue Pearl Décor
July 13, 2011 KT

Last week I gave you a little teaser about the upcoming Brisbane French Festival

If you’re in Brisbane, come along to Southbank and visit me on the Blue Pearl Décor interiors stand where you will get the chance to see some of the artworks from my paper and textile-based series Collected Patterns: The botany of Walter Hill. Also on the stand will be work by artisan painter-decorator Julian Fantone from Idea Creations, who I featured on Design Spot last year. The lovely and talented Marine Clave de Otaola from Blue Pearl Décor has been involved in coordinating the stands, in particular those in the furniture/interiors/artisanal section and the VIP marquee, where you will find my Falling Leaves wallpaper installed as part of the interior decoration. Being the Francophile I am, I’m very excited about this opportunity!

The Blue Pearl Décor stand will be pumping between 9am and 5pm. But, hang around afterwards for more fun at the Festival until it all wraps up at 10pm. If the weather is anything like what it was last weekend, it will be a truly glorious outing for one and all.

See you there!

Details:

Saturday 16 July 2011, 9am-10pm at Southbank (along the Brisbane River outside the Queensland Performing Arts Centre).
