Cabbage Palm
$220.00
This hauntingly beautiful print is one of six botanical patterns in the Collected Patterns Black & White Giclée series.
The Cabbage Palm is found in moist open forest, often in swampy sites and on margins of rainforests or near the sea. Botanist, Walter Hill, spent considerable time cultivating native and foreign Palms and Cycads in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, growing a small plantation of them adjacent to the Garden’s Aviary. Some of them are still there today, making them over 150 years old, a fact worth celebrating in this series.
Digitally printed on Hahnemühle 100% Cotton Rag Paper with Epson long-life pigment inks by Brisbane’s most esteemed archival printer, this print is truly gallery quality. It’s one of a very limited edition of only 10 impressions and is highly collectible.
Each print is signed, numbered, titled on the back and wrapped in acid-free tissue. Also included are details about the print, the series it’s part of and confirmation of the edition number purchased.
This print is unframed and will require framing for display. Due to the fragile nature of the ink, the print can be shipped direct to your framer, and this is recommended. If you prefer the print to be delivered to you, avoid touching the surface, as it will mark.
Ships worldwide in a strong, non-bendable tube.
