WHEN THE ROSES FIT, WEAR THEM
OVERVIEW
When the roses fit, wear them uses the poetic metaphors of flowers and clothing to create an installation based on the evolving of girl into woman. Broadly, it talks about the inner and outer metamorphosis of our changing selves, and the celebration of blossoming into our fullest beauty.
Created with over 2000 handmade satin roses in eight jewel-like colours, the installation is scented with rose oil to illicit the sensory experience of walking into a room of fresh blooms.
