Lethbridge 10000 Small Scale Art Award – Finalist

Lethbridge 10000 Small Scale Art Award – Finalist
May 26, 2011 KT

I’m delighted to announce I am a finalist in this year’s Lethbridge 10000 Small Scale Art Award!

The Lethbridge Gallery exhibits artwork demonstrating exceptional detail and creativity and with the intention of fostering the next generation of artists, Lethbridge Gallery initiated the Lethbridge 10000 Small Scale Art Award. Open to national and international artists, entrants could submit paintings, drawings and 2D artworks up to 60cm in any direction, with the judging criteria based on creativity, originality and skill.

Congratulations to all the other artists who made it to this stage. Due to space restrictions at the gallery, only some works will be exhibited at the Lethbridge Gallery while others will be exhibited solely online.

I’m happy to say my giclée print, Casuarina (pictured below from my recent solo exhibition, Collected Patterns: The botany of Walter Hill) will be both in the show and online.

The exhibition runs 4-26 June 2011 at 136 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington, Queensland. All work is for sale and one work will win the $10,000 art award!
