Wintergarden, one of the original shopping mall’s in Brisbane’s CBD, is undergoing a huge make-over. Stage One has just been launched and to celebrate, an exhibition of 20 Brisbane creatives has been installed on the ground level. A derivative of the giclée print, Casuarina, from my recent exhibition, Collected Patterns: The botany of Walter Hill, has been included in response to the curatorial theme of ‘growth – piece by piece’, representing the gradual unveiling of each of the stages of refurbishment in the complex.
