Now, I’m not reviewing these events, as that would be not only a conflict of interest, but just darn weird… Why? Because I was one of the speakers!
But, I would like to say that the Brisbane Bubble and Speak Breakfast Seminar, held last Thursday at The Emporium Hotel and the event on the Gold Coast at Q1 on Friday, were both very well received. I was delighted to share the billing with Pandarosa, the Melbourne-based design duo extraordinaire and while our work and presentations embraced certain common ground, we are worlds apart in our visual aesthetic, which made for really diverse presentations that left the crowd smiling… I get the feeling this inspirational breakfast really did the job!
There will be a review down the track from one of the talented DIA (Design Institute of Australia) team, so keep an eye out for that re-posting. Meanwhile, I wish to thank the Bubble and Speak team, who are amazing and talented and passionate about sharing all aspects of the design conversation. Also, to the DIA for including such a meaningful event in their annual calendar.
